Set during the decline and fall of the consumerist empire, a filthy garbage-picker is retained as a personal slave by a wealthy ultra-consumer still worshipping at the temple of a life he once knew. Slave is tasked with amassing prized items like Swiffers©, cellphone covers and large amounts of hand sanitizer. One night, when a woman joins them in a cheap motel to perform humiliating sexual rituals, Slave has an epiphany about a jellyfish. Now worthless, the Master executes him by Hybrid SUV, leaving him for dead. As his life slips away in the gutter, Slave looks up into the firmament and sees a giant spectral jellyfish: his new deity
